Your quintessential slasher film. That’s what it is, no more, no less.
You have seen one, you have seen them all. And I love it! 🙂
Maybe not love, but it’s a really fun movie for what it tries to be. I like it even more than the first. What surprised me the most is how much I liked the characters (that are being slashed). Say what?! I liked the characters in a generic horror movie? Am I crazy or what?! Nope, they were really fun and quite charismatic to be honest. Young characters in horror movies nowadays are all so emo and depressive. It’s nice to see young folks having fun and smiling.
There was this guy who was playing pranks on everybody. I think he survived, but then again, the movie didn’t give any kind of resolution to his part.
There was also this guy in the wheelchair who beats everyone in armwrestling. I loved this dude and rooted for him all the way through. He also had some nice moments with this cute girl who didn’t mind him being in the wheelchair. I love that kind of stuff, when disabled characters score in life, especially with cute women.
And then there was this SMOKING hot girl. Man, what a bombshell! 🙂 SPOILER, she has an awesome naked scene. Damn right!
But enough about the characters. Let’s talk slashing. Or let’s not talk about it because as I said, all the horror movie cliches are being used here. If you have watched the movie Scream, they will explain them to you. Btw. If you haven’t watched Scream… Really?!
Overall I had the best time with this flick and can’t wait to watch Part 3 🙂
Btw. Wtf happened at the end there?! How?? Ugh! I guess they may explain it in the next movie.
