WATCH THE TRAILER

Because of Wes Craven’s unfortunate death a week ago I rewatched Scream. I’m not really a horror guy and I have a hard time to be impressed by a horror movie. Often characters make stupid decisions and jump scares don’t make a horror movie good either. It’s a really cheap trick. But Scream doesn’t do that and instead frightens by its tension, terror and mystery. It also impresses me with how inventive it is. It’s a horror movie about horror movies and the finale is just CRAZY! When you watch it for the first time, although you will suspect something, you will not see this coming! It’s so original.

I noticed a few odd music choices throughout the movie that kinda bugged me and some wonky acting moments by some actors. But other than that this is a true horror classic!
