WATCH THE TRAILER

Watched it for the first time and I’m glad i did. I don’t know much about Woody Allen movies (I’m in the process of catching up), but I am pretty amazed how a simple story like that can captivate me in front of a small airplane screen (yeah, I watched in on the plane to Germany).

The movie basically tells the story of a couple and how they go trough the motions during their relationship. It’s a pretty lighthearted comedy that is the most funniest when you think about your own relationships in the past and how they have been playing out. It’s still amazing to me how every relationship seems the same and basically that’s the point of the movie. It just shows you how generic 95% of relationships are that end in a breakup. Actually that’s pretty sad… Anyway, Woody Allen and Diane Keaton are superb in their roles. Especially Woody Allen, who I didn’t know he acts in movies, is awkwardly funny in the way he delivers his lines, but that’s perfect because that’s what his character is. Also I love how he and some other characters break the 4th. In some instances they talk to the viewer, in others there are subtitles explaining the thought of the characters to the viewer in oposition to what they are saying on screen. I love that stuff.

Definitely a good watch, especially for couples. So, when you have a girlfriend or a boyfriend, watch it together. It’s a real eye opener! I swear you will be more cautious about your current relationship after that 🙂
