To summarize this movie in one sentence: It’s a cartoon version of the first Jurassic Park.

Each character in the movie a caricature of a character from the original. There is a lot of cheesy dialog and silly humor and it becomes worse as the film goes on.

There are some neat ideas here and there, especially seeing a park that fully functions (even though it’s a more cartoony version of the first one). Also the theme of engineering hybrid dinosaurs seems kind of cool in a way. But other ideas are ridiculous. Sorry, I just don’t buy the fact that a human can teach raptors and be their leader. It’s like a sheep is gonna teach a pack of wolves…

I liked some of the nostalgic moments, but ultimately, when you compare it to the first one (and believe me this movie wants to be compared to the first one, otherwise it would not be titled Jurassic World) it totally falls flat. It’s over the top and pretty silly.

Also, why do the dinosaurs look more fake with each new movie? It has been over 20 years and the creatures in Jurassic Park seem way more natural and believable. CGI just seems to get more cartoony nowadays than it used to be. Animators should be taught how to restrain themselves…
