Great biopic about one of the great Polish surgeons and his journey to prepare and successfully conduct the first heart transplantation in communist Poland, a country penetrated (even to this day) with catholic dogmas and religious subtext.

Also shows some pretty funny examples of how things were in a communist system not that long ago (mid 80’s to be exact).

One of the best Polish films I have watched in recent years. Check it out!
